Afternoon Tea is choc-ca for the Fascinator Workshop

We're now fully booked for the second Fascinator making workshop on 1 August 2009. The first workshop, led by Lisa Margreet, saw our afternoon tea crowd create a dramatic viola fascinator using merry widow veiling and very velvet ribbon.

We're yet to pencil in the third workshop, but to register your interest, email us at dreamspace@adrem.uk.com or call 020 7562 8282.

Went in for a prawn sandwich, came out with champagne! By Chloe of Afternoon Tea

I took a rare day off today to head to Bury St Edmonds to find suits for my upcoming wedding. We stumbled upon the most lovely tea rooms called Harriets. The waitresses were dressed in vintage waitress outfits and the someliers dressed to the nines in suits. Gorgeous.

As I popped to the bathroom, I put my request in for a cup of Earl Grey and a prawn sandwich. When the food arrived, I was a little suspicious. Why were they giving me so many plates? My lovely husband to be had surprised me with a champagne afternoon tea. I couldn't recommoned Harriets more if you're looking for a classic, not to mention calorific, afternoon tea. What a lovely way to spend a drisly Monday outside of London!

Love Chloe (one half of Afternoon Tea) xx
